About the IIT Roorkee
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee for short) is an engineering university in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Eligibility Criteria In IIT Roorkee Science Internship Program 2023
- Students who are currently enrolled and have graduated at least two semesters of a Bachelor’s degree (B.Arch./BE./B.Tech./M.Sc/MA) in the relevant field from every institute in India.
- The following CGPA minimum criteria apply:
- CGPA > 7.5 for IIT/IISc.
CGPA > 8.0 for NIT/IISER/NISER/IIEST/UM-DAECBS.
CGPA > 8.5 for students from other institutes.
Program Goals In IIT Roorkee Science Internship Program 2023
- Provide research exposure for interested students and IITR graduates.
- To attract and encourage talented students from other institutions. Some of these students may then apply for graduate or doctoral studies at IITR.
