Requirement Gathering

  • Attend a JAD session to gather requirements and appropriate supporting documentation (business, functionality, UI, usability, data, compliance, data migration, NFR, third-party tools, and products).
  • Make requests and resolve requests in areas that are unclear or ambiguous and require more information for technology managers.

Resource/ Efforts Estimation and Monitoring:

Understand how assessments (effort, measure, etc.) are performed at the task level in the relevant workspace, measure and report actual effort vs. expected effort, and provide task progress reports in C20 or another appropriate tool.

Design & Analysis:

  • Preparation of HL designs and detailed design documents with the assistance of architects for the specified scope.
  • Show all results created by the developer.
  • Research non-functional requirements and design NFRs accordingly.
  • Understand the dependencies of various components in a development work package.
  • Create a detailed design and pass it on to the developer.
  • provide information to the project manager / technical manager to create a project plan from a technical point of view.
  • Assist with the development of a proof of concept as designed by the solution designer/architect.
  • Start the development environment setup.
  • Provide demos to customers for initial feedback.
  • Create quality checkpoints for all output.

Coding:

  • Develop business-grade coding, business-grade coding, interface development, service development, build stored procedures, etc. as applicable to work packages/projects.
  • CTS and specific coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Understand database concepts and write efficient queries.
  • Raise clarifications/questions/concerns about the moderator’s performance.
  • Get regular technical lead/peer reviews.
  • Participate in setup activities to prepare the required environment.
  • Implement code generation to test environment.
  • Conduct peer reviews during design, coding, and testing.
  • Complete documentation according to scope.
  • Creation of guidelines and checklists for development and testing activities.
  • Provide feedback to the design team.
  • Share feedback with developers to verify code compliance.
  • Integrate changes based on feedback.
  • Provide necessary and timely status updates to managers/technical leads.
  • Assign potential risks to potential customers.
  • Update the traceability matrix for the developed work packages.
  • guiding developers to help them solve technical programming difficulties.
  • Follow the SCM rules defined for the project.
  • Ask clarifications/questions/concerns about the moderator’s performance in a timely manner.
  • Provide necessary and timely status updates to managers/technical leads.
  • Proactively highlight potential risks to presenters.
  • provide support for process audit activities.
  • Adhere to processes and tools (use of Cognitive 20, knowledge of quality management systems).

Testing:

  • Develop comprehensive unit test cases and unit test plans.
  • Perform comprehensive unit tests.
  • Unit test logging.
  • Preparation and support in creating a unit test strategy.
  • Planning documents and data requirements.
  • Automate unit tests and help automate unit tests.
  • Conduct peer review of unit test cases.
  • Perform developer integration tests by integrating components.
  • Check the test cases prepared by the developer.

People Management:

  • Engage with the team.
  • Resolving/managing team conflicts.
  • Implementation of internal training for developers in the team.
