Educational Qualification for various posts:
For Backup Administrator/Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) Specialist/BI Specialist/Antivirus Administrator/Developer/ Programmers/SOC Analyst:
- B.E./ B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Computer Science / Computer Technology/Computer Engineering and in relevant fields or MCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or First Class.
For Network Administrator :
- B.E./ B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Computer Science / Computer Technology/Computer Engineering and in relevant fields or MCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or First Class.
- Should possess a valid CCNP / CCNA certification in Network switching & Routing Certification
For Database Administrator:
- B.E./ B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Computer Science / Computer Technology/Computer Engineering and in relevant fields or MCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or First Class.
- Should possess a valid OEM Certification i.e. Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or higher.
For System Administrator:

- Candidate should possess Chartered Accountant.
For Manager -Finance:
- Two years full time MBA (Finance)/ Two years full time MMS (Finance)/ Two years full time Post Graduate Diploma with specialization in Finance with a minimum 60% marks or Equivalent Grade or First Class.
For Information Security Analyst:
- B.E./ B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Computer Science / Computer Technology/Computer Engineering and in relevant fields or MCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or First Class.
- Candidate should possess any of the certifications CISA/ CISSP/ CISM /Certified Cyber Forensic Professional (CCFP), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFS), Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH) Certification/ OSCP/CCNA/ CCNP.
For Ethical Hackers & Penetration Testers:

- Must possess Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification or OSCP or ECSA.

Canara Bank Recruitment Selection Process:
- Firstly, The selection shall be by way of Online Objective Test + Group Discussion +Interview basing on the applications received for individual posts.
- Secondly, In case the number of candidates is less, the selection will be done through Short-listing, Group Discussion & Interview.
- Thirdly, In case the selection is through an on-line test, the pattern for examination is Professional Knowledge in the area of specialization is for 50 questions (100 marks), Test of English is for 50 questions (50 marks), Latest Developments in Banking Industry is 50 question(50 marks). There will be negative marks for wrong answers in Objective Test.
