What is TCS NQT?
TCS National Qualifier Test (TCS NQT) is an Ability Test to analyze and assess a candidate’s skills, abilities, and competency. TCS provides NQT Scores to the candidates completing the test. The NQT (Cognitive Skills) Score is accepted by all industries and job profiles. This test is planned to be conducted quarterly.
In case if a candidate desire to improve their previous scores, they can attempt it again. There are four Variants of TCS NQT- NQT (Cognitive Skills), Industry NQT, Attitudinal Alignment NQT (Psychometric Test), and Subject NQT.
Details of the Test
– Validity of two years of NQT Score
– Prerequisite of all the tests is NQT(Cognitive Skills)
– Conducted physical In-Centre at TCS iON Authorised Exam Centres and also in online mode (at home)
– Candidates with valid NQT Score are eligible to apply on the Job Listing Portal of TCS iON
–Candidate can apply to any entry-level in any corporate with the NQT score
Variants of TCS NQT
- NQT (Cognitive Skills)- It is a General Ability Test that analyses candidates on the factors:
- Reasoning Ability- It includes identification of words, numeric patterns, decision making, factual and figural analysis, problem-solving, visual-spatial reasoning, and propositional reasoning.
- Verbal Ability- It assesses English Grammar, its proper usage, and reading comprehension.
- Numerical Ability- It assesses arithmetic, elementary statistics, number system, and interpretation of data.
- Industry NQT- It analyses a candidate’s knowledge and awareness of areas like Regulatory Environment, Competitive Landscape, Business and Technology Trends, Industry Structure of a specific industry.
- Subject NQT- It assesses the specific subject’s knowledge and skills by Test of Knowledge and Application of programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc., and their hands-on projects as per the job roles.
- Attitudinal Alignment NQT- It analyses a candidate’s personality traits, work styles by the attitude alignment test and provides an assessment report.
Eligibility
– Age limit- minimum of 18 to 28 years maximum
– Freshers having at least 2 years of experience
– Candidates who passed out in the years 2017-2020 and having a degree and specialization
– Candidates in their pre-final and final year of study during the period of 2021-2023 of UG, PG, and Diploma
–Candidate can apply to any entry-level in any corporate with the NQT score
